Wedding Photography FAQs
1. How do we book you for our wedding?
Booking is easy! Just reach out via my contact form 👉 here, and we’ll set up a chat to make sure we’re the perfect fit. Once you pay your non-refundable booking fee and sign the contract, that date is yours!
2. Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, I do! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture some gorgeous, relaxed photos before the big day. Find out more about my engagement packages 👉 here
3. How much coverage do we need for our wedding?
Every wedding is unique, but I’ll help you figure out the perfect coverage based on your wedding party size, guest count and what’s most important to you. My Cherish Signature Collection starts at 3 hours, and includes my 3C’s philosophy to capture your Celebration, Connections & Cherished Moments. You can view my packages 👉 here
4. Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I’m based on the Sunshine Coast but love photographing weddings across Australia and beyond. Let’s chat about your location!
5. Is there a travel fee?
One location on the Sunshine Coast is included in your package. If your wedding involves multiple locations, a travel fee applies to cover time and expenses. For weddings outside the Sunshine Coast, get in touch for a custom quote.
6. What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
No stress! I’m experienced in working with all kinds of weather. We’ll make a plan B before the day so it’s one less thing to worry about. We can capture some beautiful indoor or covered shots, or embrace the rain for some stunning, romantic photos.
7. How many images do we receive and how long does it take to get our photos?
Generally I deliver 80-100 images per hour, this number can vary in number due to your own unique circumstances. You’ll receive a sneak peek the following week, and your full gallery will be ready within 4-6 weeks & 6-8 weeks in peak season.
8. Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes! This is my speciality. I believe your wedding photos deserve more than just a spot on Instagram. I offer beautifully designed albums so you can relive your day for years to come. Check my albums 👉 here
9. Can we provide a shot list?
I focus on capturing real, natural moments, but I always get the key shots! If there are specific requests (like must-have family photos), let me know, and I’ll make sure they’re covered.
10. What’s your photography style?
My style is a mix of documentary storytelling and natural, relaxed portraits. I focus on capturing genuine emotions and all the little details that make your day unique. My style is colourful, and timeless, no trending filters here.
11. Do you guide us on posing?
100%! I don’t expect you to be models. Most of my couples are everyday people who feel a bit awkward on front of the camera. That’s why I like to keep things fun and natural, so you feel comfortable and look amazing. No awkward poses, just real moments that feel like you. Check out my galleries 👉 here
Family Photography FAQs
1. Where do family sessions take place?
I offer sessions at outdoor locations, beach or bush, around the Sunshine Coast, your home, or anywhere meaningful to your family.
2. Is there a travel fee?
Travel is included in postcodes 4551 & 4575, outside of this area will incur a travel fee. Price on application.
3. What should we wear for our family photos?
Keep it comfortable and true to your style! Neutral and earthy tones photograph beautifully, and coordinating outfits (without being too matchy) work best. I have a guide I will share with you after you book.
4. How long does a session last?
Short & Sweet Session is 20 minutes and Kindred is 60 minutes. If booking for more than 5 people in your session, an extra 5 minutes is added per extra person.
5. I want a variety of family photos, but what if my kids don’t sit still?
No problem at all! We’ll start by creating a 'wish list' of photo combinations, which I call my casual-formal photos. This ensures we get all the important shots first. After that, we move on to the fun, relaxed family photos where the kids can play and be themselves, no forced smiles required! I'll capture their true personalities in the process.
6. Can grandparents or extended family join the session?
Absolutely! The more, the merrier. Each package includes up to 5 people, there is a small fee for additional family members.
7. What if the weather is bad?
If it’s looking rainy or super windy, we can reschedule or find a covered location to keep everyone comfortable.
8. When will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks.
9. Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes! Your family photos deserve to be displayed, not just sit on a hard drive. I offer high-quality prints and albums to preserve your memories. You’ll find a print store in your gallery.
10. Can we bring our pets?
Of course! Furry family members are always welcome, just let me know so we can plan for them in the shoot.
11. How do we book a session?
Fill out my enquiry form, and we’ll find a time that works! A small deposit secures your session date.
