COOLUM BEACH WEDDING - CHANTEL + KYLE
Small family wedding
Not every wedding needs to be a big affair. With the exemption of Chantel’s mother not being able to make it due to unforeseen circumstances, their Coolum Beach wedding was just right for them.
Initialling, the ceremony was to be held on the sand, down at First Bay, but with wild weather leading up to the day, and high tides, there was no beach left for the couple and their guests.
Instead, kick in Plan B, and the amazing team from Barefoot Brides created an intimate ceremony set up on the balcony of their accomodation at The Point, Coolum Beach.
Their celebrant Lynette Maguire created a fun ceremony with the couple playing rock, paper, scissors to see who went first saying their vows and the very funny ninja vows were also included to spice things up.
We managed to sneak away for a quick couple’s shoot on the coastal beach walk at Point Arkwright, sheltered away from the strong easterly winds. Before returning them back to The Point Coolum, to a home-cooked Mexican inspired meal to celebrate with their family & friends.
