MOOLOOLABA WEDDINGS SPOTLIGHT
The Today Show comes to Mooloolaba to show Australia just how wonderful it is.
Tim Davies, channel Nine’s Today Show weather presenter burst onto Mooloolaba Beach at sunrise bursting with energy and Mooloolaba turned on her charm to greet him.
It was a stunning winter’s morning, with the gorgeous Pacific Ocean glistening in the background. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect morning to broadcast to the nation just why Mooloolaba is one of Australia best beaches.
Mooloolaba is situated in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, just one hour north from Brisbane. It boasts a beautiful north facing beach, protected from the onshore easterly winds. With a tourist strip filled with luxury resorts, cafes and restaurants, there’s no need for a car to get around the idyllic town.
Mooloolaba Weddings staged a sunrise style shoot as part of the Today Show weather cross. Local wedding suppliers banded together to create a beautiful wedding set up for locals and tv viewers to picture what a wedding on the Sunshine Coast could look like.
Marriage celebrant Suzanne Riley was our Mooloolaba Weddings spokesperson for the day, sitting and chatting with Tim in the Glamacamp Tent for the live cross. During the segment, Tim did a hilarious blooper telling our couple to be ‘safe on the wedding night!’ referring to safe social distancing, but not what we were all thinking!
There were so many wonderful businesses who donated their time and talent to showcase Mooloolaba Weddings. They included:
Wedding Styling: Cloud Nine Weddings
